Daily Inspiration

You both were called
To stay in the Chung-an Mountains;
Now you can’t take leave
Of Stone Bridge.
In the forest,
Signs of autumn cease;
On the high peak,
Night meditation lasts long.
Cold grass and mist
Hide tigers;
The moon
Lights a hawk in tall pines.
I’ll arrive at the temple
In the time of frosty skies;
That temple built
Dynasties ago.
